    I try to SEO my website and I succeeded in installing and runnung PrettyFaces.

    I configured the pretty-config.xml and now in my browsers address bar nice URLs appeared:


    instead of


    But in the source code of the page the JSF links still look ugly like this:

    a href=”#” title=”…” onclick=”mojarra.jsfcljs(document.getElementById(‘j_idt19’),{‘j_idt19:j_idt21′:’j_idt19:j_idt21’},”);return false”

    Is there the possibility to get nice links in website source, I think this is also important for SEO, isn’t it?

    Could you post your PrettyFaces configuration and the relevant part of your xhtml page please? This way we could get an idea of what you did and what you could do to get the URLs even more “pretty”! :)


    This is probably because you are using <h:commandLink> instead of <h:link>
