    Hi,

    Is it ever possible to implement cascading actions to the brand new PrettyFaces?

    What I mean is, if we have a fine-grained system with each bean responsible for some specific aspect of page rendering, we would end up with something like this, if we, for instance have to manage an Accountant Client working for different companies:

    ClientBean – holds brief client details;

    RegistrationBean – holds registration data (i.e. Client may be registered with Company A and Company B);

    AccountBean – holds client account details in context of selected Registration.

    In order to render the Account page properly, we have to initialise all three beans with a separate action method call. It is not possible in PF3, any chances this is covered in PF4?

    Thanks a lot in advance.

    Hi,

    using multiple page actions is possible with PrettyFaces 3. Just add multiple <action> elements to your XML configuration. Or, if you are using annotations, add an @URLAction to the other bean and reference the mapping with the mappingId attribute.
