    Hello guys :):)

I need your help on something, I have an application written in JAVA with JSF (using RichFaces 3.3).

Currently my URL looks like this:

    https://localhost:8443/WebApplication/Login/

Question is how do I mask my url to make it like this:

    https://localhost:8443/Login/

Basically I want to hide “WebApplication”

    Thank you :)

You need to install your application under the root ‘/’, which means you need to configure your web/application server to do that. This is different for each server type.

I’d search google for something like, “deploy application on [server] without context root”.

We found a solution :) Easy one :D We are using eclipse, and in the properties of the project, we modified the context-path to “/” and it worked :) :)
