    Hi,
    I’m currently using pretty-faces 3.3 and I’m very satisfied.
    I’m using inbound and oubound request.
    My ptretty-faces.xml has rules like this one:

    <url-mapping id="login" parentId="base">
    <pattern value="/login" />
    <view-id value="/pages/main/login.jsf" />
    </url-mapping>

    … but now I would like to rewrite the domain, like this example:

    http://www.mydomain.com/mobile/

    should be rewritten into

    httl://mobile.mydomain.com

    How can I do that?

    Thanks

    Hey,

    unfortunately PrettyFaces doesn’t support rewriting the domain name part of the URL.

    But you should have a look at Rewrite, with is the successor of PrettyFaces and also supports rewriting of domain names:

    http://ocpsoft.org/rewrite/

    Rewrite offers a PrettyFaces compatibility module, which allows you to migrate to Rewrite and keep using your old PrettyFaces configuration.
