We have a use case where we would like to store a Navigate object in the user session just to maintain the URL when a session has expired, and the user is redirected to login page.
We can no use Navigate object as it is not serializable and the isn’t any method to create one based on a the string generated by .build() method for example.
Could someone tell us if there is a better way to solve this use case using URL rewrite?
Thanks in advance.
The result of calling Navigate#build() is a standard JSF action outcome. So you could simply store this string in the session and use it later for navigation. that should work fine.
