    Hi

    I have the configuration seen below – my problem is that I sometimes get a ‘Method not found’. My method is declared with ‘id’ as a long value – but I see that pretty faces tries to call it with the parameter as a string value? How can I ensure that my method will be called with a long value rather than a string?

    The parameter in my url is always a number and can without problem be casted to a long.

    Thanks in advance for any help 🙂

    ` <url-mapping id=”myList”>
    <pattern value=”/list/#{ id }” />
    <view-id value=”/pages/List.xhtml” />
    <action>#{facade.findById(id)}
    </action>
    </url-mapping>

    With this configuration PrettyFaces will simply convert the id to a query parameter. And query parameters are always strings. So PrettyFaces isn’t (and cannot) do any conversion here.

    Which version of PrettyFaces are you using? And could you post the exact error you are getting?
