    I had asked in a private message if you are utilizing the javax.faces API. We also noted the presence of “ocpsoft-prettytime-a28408d/src/main/resources/META-INF/faces-config.xml” which appears to indicate the presence of faces.

    You replied that yes, the JSF API is used, but only to provide a Converter for the JSF environment. This has no effect on the core PrettyTime functionality. You raise a good point, however. This functionality should be split into a separate integration module for 2.0. The architecture will probably also change to support GWT as well, which may necessitate a similar module. We do not bundle the API, only make references to it.
