I am trying to add pretty-faces to my Seam 2.2.1.Final (JBoss 5.1.0) Web application.
This is the first time I am using pretty-faces and I am having problems with the 1st step..
Below is the error Eclipse is giving me after I created the pretty-config.xml as explained in the documentation. There are no mappings yet in this file but it seems that there’s a parse error.
cvc-elt.1: Cannot find the declaration of element ‘pretty-config’.
Could someone point me in the right direction?
Could you post your complete pretty-config.xml file? Seems like there is something wrong with your namespace declaration.
It should look like this:
<pretty-config xmlns="http://ocpsoft.com/prettyfaces/3.2.0" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"
xsi:schemaLocation="http://ocpsoft.com/prettyfaces/3.2.0 http://ocpsoft.com/xml/ns/prettyfaces/ocpsoft-pretty-faces-3.2.0.xsd ">
We’ve fixed the issue with the XSD, and this should now validate correctly in Eclipse. Could you please clear your Eclipse Schema Cache and try again? Let us know if this works for you, thanks.
