I am curious if anyone has done this and if you would mind sharing details of the implementation if so. So far, this is the best instruction we have found on how to do this… http://tomcat.apache.org/connectors-doc/generic_howto/proxy.html (scroll to Url Handling – Url Rewriting section). Thanks.
I’ve done this with nginx proxy. But main problem here is not how to proxy, but rather how to make JSF to hide context path in generated HTML. Here is related post on SO: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/9905946/jsf-url-rewriting-solution-needed
